From The Youngest:
I Am Like Jesus

A few weeks ago the Heavens brought forth a fierce rain upon San Diego. For four long days the clouds purged their bowels of evil, leaving the poor city as drenched as our hapless Prophet Jonah. La Primera's fence was no match for the fury of the supernatural. It had collapsed. When I cast my gaze closer upon the dilapidated ruins of the fence, I saw that it was not built upon a solid foundation. My heart trembled and I retreated into the shadows.

Woe to the man who doth not heed the words of Our Lord!

As I rebuild a new fence, I shall build my fence with the Love of God in my heart. I will let His Hands guide mine as we craft this structure together on solid ground. It shall stand as a Testament of my Faith. Just as my mortal flesh is tested by the temptations of the devil, so too will my fence be tested by the varied tempests that come with the changing of the winds. Verily I say unto you, with the help of the Lord my faith will hold as firmly as my fence.

Unfortunately, the Good Lord did not bless my faith with structural fencing plans, measurements, and some necessary tools.

As I prayed, God led me to realize that I needed help from someone else. I requested the assistance of U, who's godliness can be measured by his willingness to help and his ability to use my body as a vessel through which the Lord can operate.

First, I dug two 12x12x12 holes. We kept them a little shallow to make sure we didn't unleash Satan.

Check out this dirt from the holes!

Next, we mixed some cement in a bucket with a shovel and filled in those holes to make anchors for the fence. It took 300 lbs of concrete. Hallelujah!

U positioned the brackets as the cement hardened.

Next, we bought a bunch of wood from the Home Depot. Thanks for all those awesome trees Jesus!

Huh huh, "Wood."

Today, with a little instruction from U the day before (and a whole lot of prayer today), I got two posts up, plumbed, and bolted.

It's everything built around the
posts that isn't level.

U just stopped by to give me the next couple steps. He saw my Good Works and he left me a skill saw. Let us exalt this tool of power.
